Some of the work uses geometric forms comprised of lines. They represent my drive for perfection and order, and the reality of my imperfect nature. Humans work lifetimes to attain that which makes them complete, or perfect. Perfection is divine, therefore incomprehensible and unachievable.
The fire-treated works further embrace the volatility of life. In accordance
with the cross symbols, they are my dedication to God and the human effort
towards perfection.
