About Avisheh:
Fascinated by the notion of relativity and the concept of truth, and inspired by surrealist and abstract-expressionist works, I have been creating imagery that are visual poems to me. They are reflections of my introspections and relate to the unknown in me and my surrounding.
Duality, a major stimulating element of my work is manifested by revealing the multifaceted aspects of each being, the twofold of male-female, real-unreal, physics-metaphysics, as well as the harmony of these duos.
While satisfying the sense of continued curiosity and the desire for artistic expression, the element of creating becomes the most fulfilling aspect of my work. The first time I developed a photo in the darkroom, I fell in love! It became a necessity for me to respond to the subconscious elements in me that have now become my photographs.
