About Mike:

I find inspiration in the shape of a tree and the way its limbs define shape against the sky. Drawing life studies of a dancers movement and working to capture the gesture have reinforced my interest in implying motion. I blend these together with my dreams and a sense of wonder with the construction of the universe to create sculpture that move and captivate a person from all angles.
